Eagles Love A Road Trip
The visitors have won 3 league games compared to their hosts' 1 in the Premier League this season and they tend to excel on their travels.
Crystal Palace have won five of their last six Premier League away matches and 10 of their last 12 on the road in all competitions dating back to 4 January. That run has gone on too long to be a fluke.
The Pardew triumphs have included trips to Stamford Bridge, Anfield and St Mary’s Stadium. Given that the Eagles have also claimed home victories against Man City and indeed Spurs in this time period, there is nothing to fear for the south Londoners here.
Jason Puncheon struck the bar and Hugo Lloris played a blinder when the sides last met at White Hart Lane in December. It somehow ended 0-0 but the visitors are great value to take all three points this time at best odds of 16/5 with Coral.
Tottenham (Evens) have done virtually nothing to merit their strong favouritism here unless you include a scrappy win at Sunderland and a Europa League home win against Azerbaijani minnows.
Overall, playing on Thursday night ahead of a big London derby seems unlikely to be advantageous and the upset could be on the cards here.
