Don’t Write-Off Leicester Yet

There has been an overreaction to Leicester’s defeat at Liverpool and they face a City team with a mediocre away record.

Leicester’s defeat at Liverpool felt like a watershed moment – finally the Premier League regained its sanity and we can pat Claudio Ranieri’s men on the back and return them to where they belong, in mid-table.

More to the point, it reminds us of the knee-jerk mentality employed by the mainstream media outlets and pundits.

Leicester lost 1-0 at Anfield, not the first team that has even happened too yet they still remained top of the league. On Tuesday night they welcome City to the King Power Stadium and there is still cause of optimism.

Leicester have won 5/8 home games this season whereas City have lost as many as they have won (three) away from the Etihad.
If you ignore the narrative and focus on the numbers then Leicester make a cracking bet at 16/5.
