Devilishly Hard To Score

Neither Palace or Man Utd have scored for 3 matches apiece. An explosion of goal action is unlikely at Selhurst Park.

The Saturday evening match in the Premier League features two teams who haven’t scored in their last three matches. BetVictor’s offer of 12/5 on under 1.5 goals in the match therefore looks appealing.

Manchester United’s Champions League qualification bid is now back in the balance after failures to find the net against Chelsea, Everton or West Brom. However, hopes of a Selhurst Park clean sheet for the Red Devils have been enhanced by the return of four defenders from injury.

Crystal Palace have gone off the boil a little lately and Alan Pardew’s experimenting with formation and personnel up front hasn’t really worked. However, the Eagles were defensively resolute against Chelsea and unlucky to lose to a penalty converted on the rebound.

Defences may be more on top than expected here, especially if Louis Van Gaal continues to force Wayne Rooney back into a midfield role.
