It's unfair to draw firm conclusions about Crystal Palace after only three games and Burnley are overrated in the betting as a consequence.
Three games in and Frank De Boer is allegedly clinging onto his job by his fingernails. That’s the immediacy of the Premier League and quite frankly it is lunacy. A month ago he was lauded for winning for Dutch titles with Ajax but those people are now being outshouted by those who claim the Eredivisie is a push over. Make up your mind people!
The good news is we don’t need to get bogged down in this too much because the odds makers are hating Crystal Palace right now. The Londoners are 11/8 (William Hill) to win in the draw no bet market and there seems little downside, other than the obvious home win.
However, this is Burnley we are talking about. Sean Dyche did some voodoo magic to keep them up last season in the face of some terrible numbers and his squad is arguably weaker this time round. We capitalised on this when we tipped West Brom to get a result at Turf Moor and we can double up with Palace to do the same.
