City Away Day Blues
Man City have won only once in their last eight away games, so how can they be 1/2 to win at the Stadium Of Light?
We are comfortably into the second half of the season and despite all the evidence of this being a particularly tight title race, Man City are still being priced as if they are the outstanding team in the league – which they aren’t.
They have won four away games from 11 attempts this season so why are the 1/2 to win at Sunderland on Tuesday night?
In their last eight away games in the league Man City have won once, a late 2-1 turnaround at Watford. Granted Sunderland are one of the weaker teams in the league but they have improved under Sam Allardyce and haven’t lost a home game by more than one goal since their first home match of the season.
Man City must be opposed and the value is in the double chance market where a Sunderland win or draw is 9/5 (Coral).
