Chelsea v Tottenham Preview

Chelsea v Tottenham Preview

Tottenham are a different proposition with a fit Harry Kane in the team and for all Chelsea’s good results this is a proper test of their new formation.

Tottenham staged a dramatic comeback against West Ham and they might need more of the same over the coming weeks to stay in the title race.

The problem with Tottenham is that they have been riding an unsustainable save percentage (77%) which is the highest in the league. This will eventually move towards the 66% mark and they need their offence to make up for Hugo Lloris cooling down.

When it comes to goals the inevitable focus is on Harry Kane and Tottenham desperately need him fit and firing as he was last weekend.

By carrying an attacking threat Tottenham are a difference proposition and it will be interesting to see how Chelsea’s defence copes. This is the toughest opposition Conte’s men have faced since moving to a back-3 and therefore their recent good form might need revisiting come Saturday evening.

The market is heavily swayed in favour of the home side but the value is on a Spurs win at 5/2 in the draw no bet market.
