Chelsea Can Edge Past Swansea

Chelsea can maintain their 100% record on Sunday but we should anticipate a close encounter.

Chelsea stepped up a gear in their last fixture against Burnley but their task will be tougher at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

The bookies make the Londoners nothing longer than 8/13 to maintain their 100% record but we’d be better off taking the best price 13/5 with StanJames on them winning by just one goal.

The early season shooting data confirms Chelsea are the better side, but also that Swansea may be better than the current league table suggests.

Defensively, Antonio Conte seems to have made his mark early with his troops only conceding 6.3 shots per game - the best in the Premier League. But the Swans rank a respectable 7th in this same metric (11.7 shots per game).

From an attacking sense, the Welsh club actually rank in the top five, managing 16.3 shots per game. Chelsea are joint second best so far with 17 per fixture.

The Blues will be desperate to keep up the early pursuit of Manchester City and this could be their third victory by one goal already this season.
