Chelsea Await Reinforcements
The champions are looking to improve their striker options before the transfer window slams shut but whoever comes in is unlikely to feature against Bournemouth.
Chelsea’s problems in the centre-forward position are well documented and perhaps a little exaggerated considering their run of 1 defeat in 16 in the Premier League, scoring 32 goals in that time.
But yet there is something in it, and even more in the sense that they can drop points to the lesser sides this season. They have lost to Burnley, Palace and West Ham and drew 0-0 with Leicester in their last top flight home game.
Bournemouth are unbeaten in five Premier League games and are worth a look +2 goals at best odds of 19/20 with Ladbrokes.
Bar bad back-to-back performances against Liverpool and Man City over Christmas, the Cherries haven’t lost by more than a goal since September. They must be value at around evens money to do it again.
