8th Mar 2020 | Premier League

Ancelotti enjoyed success at the Bridge before Abramovich showed him the door. The Italian may just fancy some overdue revenge over his former employer.

One of the peculiarities of this season is how Chelsea’s statistics belie their 4th position in the table. Their home record is only the 13th best in the Premier League and they’ve already lost as many games at Stamford Bridge (5) as in any campaign since 1994-95.

Everton will fancy their chances and can vent any grievances they still feel after being denied a late winner against Manchester United by VAR last time out. The Toffees are a best price 11/2 to win with both teams to score according to Bet365.

That looks a reasonable punt given that Everton are still in revival mode under Ancelotti, who returns to the club where he won the double a decade ago.

The Merseysiders have scored in 10 consecutive away outings, but haven’t kept a clean sheet since the opening day so expect them to need 2+ goals to take the points.
