Canaries in the Goal Mine

Tuchel lost his unbeaten record last April following an international break when his side suffered a shock 5-2 home loss to West Brom. This game has a similar profile, and while we would be mad to predict a repeat, it serves as a reminder that struggling opponents can be underestimated.

The early kick-off on Saturday is top at home to bottom, which just about everybody will regard as a home banker. We’re not going for shock of the season, but Chelsea probably won’t run riot.

This assessment in itself is enough to open up a betting opportunity with the European champions 4/5 to win with Over 2.5 goals overall. However, the 9/4 with Skybet on Chelsea/Under 2.5 goals in the match looks better.

The Blues haven’t been particularly vibrant of late, and crucially they will be without Lukaku and Werner after midweek injuries. The disruption to the front line will offer a glimmer of hope for a Norwich side who have at leasted claimed back-to-back clean sheets.
