Burnley Take Two
The markets have overreacted to a sample size of two. Burnley were 6/4 to win last weekend, whilst Liverpool aren’t the real deal.
Having suggested the promoted teams were value on the opening weekend it was always going to happen - Hull won whilst we tipped Burnley and Middlesbrough instead.
Sean Dyche’s men have a second bite of the cherry with another home fixture this time against Liverpool. The market is taking knee-jerk reactions to a new level as Liverpool are installed as 1/2 favourites after winning a crazy game at the Emirates.
Burnley are out to 6/1 having been 6/4 last weekend. Come the end of the season you’d expect Liverpool to finish ahead of Swansea but the change in odds after just 7 days seems an overreaction to the performances of both Burnley and Liverpool. All the value is on a home win at 6/1 (Bet365).
