Brighton Becoming A Force
Graham Potter is quietly making the Seagulls a side too good to go down with dominant victories over Arsenal and Spurs generating less praise than they should have.
With the headline-grabbing exploits of Liverpool, Leicester City and Sheffield Utd this season, the job Graham Potter is doing flys under the radar.
Even on Thursday the woes of Arsenal were the focus when Brighton went to the Emirates Stadium and won 2-1, and convincingly. The Seagulls had 20 shots to the Gunners’ 12, far more attempts on target (9) and even edged possession.
It was a similar story when Potter’s boys thumped Tottenham 3-0 in October. People just talked about the big team’s failings. But make no mistake, this is a team going places and a top half finish isn’t out of the question.
Wolves are on a long unbeaten but almost every match in that sequence has been tight and sooner or later they will come unstuck. At best odds of 15/8 with BetVictor, Brighton are worth a punt at the Amex.
