Brendan Class Too Much For Ole

Leicester City can legitimately challenge for the top-4 this season if they can keep their key attacking talent fit and focussed. Harry Maguire may have a tough afternoon having jumped ship.

It’s a sad state of affairs for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that the resounding 4-0 victory over Chelsea on the opening weekend already feels like a distant memory. It was United’s only league victory in their last nine outings (D4 L4) and the 6/1 on the Norwegian leaving his post next could shorten considerably overnight.

That’s because Leicester quite simply look like the better team and I’m backing them to win 2-1 at Old Trafford at best odds of 13/1 with BetVictor.

The Foxes look tactically astute under Brendan Rodgers and the front three of Vardy, Maddison and Tielemans look a threat to anyone. In particular, nobody has scored more league goals in the division than Vardy since Rodgers arrived at the club.

The scoreline makes sense because neither side is keeping many clean sheets and I can’t imagine United being blown away, for all their problems, at least at Old Trafford. That will be no comfort to Solskjaer if the points slip away again though.
