Bournemouth v Burnley Preview
Burnley have defied some horrible shot numbers and although safe their luck will eventually run out.
Get the cigars out Sean Dyche, your team are staying up. Against the backdrop of some truly terrible numbers Burnley have secured their Premier League status. Despite taking the 19th fewest number of shots, the 18th fewest on target and conceding more shots than any other team, they are safe.
Credit must go to Dyche and his voodoo over the numbers but if doesn’t change Burnley will be relegated next season.
It’s difficult to guess when the malaise (or variance to give its proper name) will set in but who about now? Bournemouth are chasing a top-10 finish and at evens should be backed to win at home.
