Bore-fest Beckons At The Hawthorns?
There hasn't been a goal at either end of a Burnley match for 337 minutes and counting.
After becoming the first club in nearly five years to record three 0-0 draws in a row, Burnley head to the Hawthorns with odds as long as 85/40 (BetVictor) available on under 1.5 goals in the match.
In many ways we shouldn’t be surprised the Clarets are producing these scorelines. They had the best defence in the Championship last term, but are badly missing strikers Sam Vokes and Danny Ings. It all makes sense.
Meanwhile, West Brom have only found the net once in their last four league games as well. The good news for the Baggies is that they made that goal count by taking three points off Spurs.
Even so, we have no reason to expect a goal-glut here and the wager of choice picks itself on Sunday.
