We got an early taste of what Sheffield Utd had in store for everyone this season when they recovered a 2-0 deficit to draw at Stamford Bridge in August. They could go even better on their own batch as the top six beckons.
Anybody who watched Chelsea’s 3-2 victory at Selhurst Park will know how vulnerable they looked and how much that result owed to good fortune. They don’t have problems going forward but defensively Lampard has a lot to solve.

The Blades stumbled out of the enforced break in the season but they are now flying again following home wins over Spurs and Wolves. An illustrious hat-trick could be on.
