Black Cats Should Avoid Toffees
Everton have only conceded one goal in their last 5 games and that grit can earn them narrow victories in tight contests.
Sunderland’s morale-boosting victory at Selhurst Park will have restored some much needed confidence. However, it may be worth remembering that their only over league success in 2014-15 was followed by an 8-0 loss at Southampton!
Everton are gradually climbing the table around some decent Europa League performances and I think they can edge a hard-fought encounter here. They have only conceded one goal in their last five outings across all competitions and that solidity should prove the difference here.
The Toffees are a best price of 14/5 (Ladbrokes) to win by one goal and that looks about right.
