Big Guns To Power Through Midweek
Swansea and Southampton are two of the weakest sides in the top flight when it comes to attacking away from home.
Two of the top three have what like home bankers this evening. In order to get an appealing price we can back Man City and Chelsea to both win to nil at best odds of 5/2 with BetVictor.
Chelsea v Swansea:
The Swans have held their own by and large on the road, but it’s mainly been an exercise in frustrating superior opponents for as long as possible. In reality they’ve only scored 3 goals away all season and 2 of those were in August at Frank De Boer’s Palace. They head to the Bridge without top scorer Abraham who belongs to Chelsea, which really doesn’t help their cause. The champions are back in excellent shape and surely won’t be denied here.
Man City v Southampton:
Doubters will point to the fact that the Saints scored 4 last time out. Well that tells you so much more about Everton than it does Southampton. Pellegrino is not looking like a brave manager and he will surely take an ultra-cautious approach at the Etihad. His side have only scored 3 times away as it is. Nobody needs telling about City, but 7 clean sheets so far is probably not getting enough coverage.
