Back On Track Or Back to Flak?
Unfortunately for Wenger even success in the Europa League doesn't mean everything will start going smoothly again in the top flight. Watford have won 3 of their last 5 against the Gunners in all competitions, twice at the Emirates.
At the risk of sounding anti-Arsenal after their fine win in the San Siro, I still think a best price 13/2 with Bet365 on Watford winning on Sunday represents good value.
In the end the trip to AC Milan worked out well for the Gunners because they had become underdogs and had a chance to show what they are made of a long way from home.
Back to the grind of the Premier League and the fans won’t have forgotten all the recent nightmares overnight. This is a side who had lost 4 on the bounce across all competitions.
Watford won’t have forgotten beating Wenger’s side both times they met in 2017, or the FA Cup victory a year before that.
