13th Dec 2015 | Premier League

Anfield Nap

West Brom away games are unremittingly low scoring and there's little reason to expect that to end here.

In a very unpredictable Premier League season, there apparently remains one certainty. All West Bromwich Albion away matches produce under 2.5 goals. This has been the case seven times out of seven in 2015-16.

There is very little reason to think this 100% record will disappear at Anfield given that Liverpool have the 4th worst home record in the top flight in terms of goal scored (8).

On the plus side for Jurgen Klopp, the Reds have allowed opponents the fewest shots on target against them (43) prior to the latest round of matches. For their part the Baggies have the second worst record for shots on target fired (46) behind Aston Villa.

It all indicates another low scoring occasion and at odds approaching evens (4/5), we should make this a rare 2pt tip considering the numbers in our favour.
