Still only 23, Dele has been at the heart of the improvement we have seen at Tottenham in recent weeks under Jose. He also has a habit of upsetting these bitter rivals.
Again we see how a month can be a really long time in football. Tottenham were on their knees not so long ago while people were saying that Chelsea’s young guns had a top-4 spot wrapped up already.
Fast forward a few weeks and Jose Mourinho is the unlikely figure leading a Spurs revival while Lampard’s youth project suffers a dip. One man epitomises the change at Tottenham - back Dele Alli for First Goalscorer at 9/1 each-way with Bet365.
This bet is a great combo of form plus history. The England midfielder has traditionally enjoyed these opponents, scoring five in his last four against the west London rivals.
But perhaps more pertinently, Alli has struck four times in his last five outings across all competitions under Mourinho. He looks like a man reborn but the bookies put a fair few above him in the goalscorer markets.
By going each-way we still get paid out at 1/3rd odds if Dele finds the net later in the match instead under Bet365 terms.
