He bagged a hat-trick against WBA, having 10 shots in an extraordinary match.
There’s been some debate as to whether QPR will get better away, or get worse at home. Given that the Hoops have claimed all 17 of their points at Loftus Road you would assume that the vast discrepancy will have to correct itself, probably through a combination of both.
However, if one is more likely to change significantly, right now you’d back Harry Redknapp’s boys to improve on the road given the confidence they are gaining almost every other week in Shepherd’s Bush.
Clearly, chief amongst the reasons for optimism is Charlie Austin, who can’t really be ignored at 3/1(Betfred) in the anytime goalscorer market on current form.
The former Burnley favourite is in the form of his life, fresh from a hat-trick against West Brom which took his league tally to 11 in 15 appearances. Amazingly, Austin could have had more against the Baggies given that he enjoyed 10 attempts on goal, with 6 of those finding the target.
Arsenal have only kept 2 clean sheets in 8 home league games at the Emirates so they will have their hands full against this England hopeful.
