Pottering Around The Bridge

Chelsea's form has been lacklustre of late whether you base the verdict on results or shot analysis.

One thing you know about Stoke City is that a couple of bad results will never get them down. They are too decent to let the rot set in as demonstrated by a league table which sees them well-established in the top half.

The Potters have won at Goodison Park, White Hart Lane and most impressively the Etihad this season, so odds of 14/1 (BetVictor) on the away victory here look inviting.

That said, Chelsea are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in the league in 2014-15. But the leaders look vulnerable and the draw looks worth a punt at 5/1.

The Blues have drawn 3 of their last 4 in the top flight at home and shot statistics generally of late show a drop off in quality compared to earlier in the campaign.

Chelsea were outshot 19-8 by Hull last time out and 18-12 when they went to West Ham earlier in March. Those were the only league games Mourinho’s men have won lately and if they can slip-up at home to Burnley, they can slip-up to Stoke.
