Odemwingie Is Back In Business

The controversial Stoke striker is looking to make it four in four at Chelsea on Saturday night.

I just can’t imagine Chelsea will let their season unravel any further at Stamford Bridge on Saturday after costly defeats to Palace and PSG in the past week. But a resurgent Stoke are probably not the visitors Mourinho would be hand-picking at this moment in time.

One man in particular is enjoying a quite unexpected purple patch. Peter Odemwingie has emerged from the shadows to score three times in his last three appearances. At best odds of 6/1 (Betfred) to score anytime at the Bridge, the bookies are yet to fully take notice.

When you consider that the 32-year-old fired 25 league goals in his first two seasons at West Brom, the pedigree is there when his head is right.
