Norwich Can Tame Crazy Liverpool
Liverpool are generally odds-on to win at Norwich, a bad bet considering at their worst they’ve lost away to Watford, Newcastle and West Ham.
It must be said Liverpool are my favourite team in the Premier League. Not because I have any allegiance to them – I just love the odds associated with their games!
A fortnight ago we described Liverpool as a rollercoaster and their season is bound to take on more twists and turns. For the first 25 minutes against Arsenal they were outstanding and should have been out of sight, a marked contrast to lacklustre display they delivered at West Ham.
The only thing we can expect from Liverpool is inconsistency. That makes them great from a betting perspective.
In the early kick-off, they are a scandalous even-money chance to beat Norwich. You could understand that price if it was top of the table Arsenal but Liverpool are only eight points above the Canaries.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have scored one away goal in their last four matches and although they have beaten Chelsea and Man City, they’ve also lost (heavily) to Watford, Newcastle and West Ham.
We don’t need to have much of an opinion of Norwich (the table is a fair reflection of their ability) to know that a home win at 10/3 (Bet365) is a cracking bet.
