Man City To Crawl To Title?

After a remarkable season, it feels like there could a little more drama before the champions are declared this afternoon.

The key to how the title decider pans out at the Etihad is how long the score remains goalless. It stayed that way for 64 minutes against Aston Villa on Wednesday but perhaps, just perhaps, it could end that way as well on Sunday.

The assumption is that Man City will storm their way to glory after Liverpool’s recent capitulation and early home goals would trigger huge relief and joy, then anything would be possible.

However, while it remains goalless there is always going to be the danger that Pellegrini’s boys could blow it in spectacular fashion. Given that West Ham have kept 14 clean sheets in 2013-14, one at Stamford Bridge, this may not be an easy ride to the title at all.

The fascinating thing is that a draw will be enough for City so if it remains that way deep into the second half then will they keep pushing so hard for the three points? With the unique dynamic, the 0-0 scoreline looks like a terrific value bet at best odds of 40/1 with Coral.
