Leicester Can Keep The Party Going

Leicester's defensive improvement remains unsung. They beat Spurs to nil and were minutes from doing the same at the Etihad.

I ducked out of backing Leicester for victory at the Etihad last weekend but the remarkable Foxes can’t be ignored again. In fact, the league leaders to win to nil at 8/1 is standout.

There are several factors which give this bet some added credibility. Firstly, Ranieri’s upstarts are actually even better on the road than they are at the King Power Stadium. The way they counter-attack, that should be no surprise.

Leicester average 2.15 points on the road (W8 D4 L1) compared to a still very decent 2.08 points at home.

Then we come to Arsenal. The Gunners have laboured in their last three league outings at the Emirates, scoring only once in that time, against Newcastle. Wenger’s team only rank 10th for home goals scored with just 16 in 12 fixtures.

The great underdog story has a long way to go yet, but the fairytale can continue on Sunday.
