26th Jan 2015 | League Cup

The Special One-Nil

Mourinho will be seething about what happened at the weekend so expect him to recall his star men and demand a clean sheet.

To some extent it feels like all bets are off after the weekend we just saw in the FA Cup but make no mistake, we won’t see the Chelsea which capitulated to Bradford on Tuesday night.

Mourinho will not have enjoyed conceded four goals at home for the first time in his managerial career. We should expect recalls for the likes of Courtois, Matic, Terry and Costa who all played in the first leg of this semi-final, but not against the League One opponents.

I expect Mourinho to revert to his default setting after an embarrassing result and demand a clean sheet from his players. Betfred offer a best price 7/1 on Chelsea reaching the final with a 1-0 victory and we get our money back if it ends 1-1 again anyway.
