Psycho Could Haunt North London
Forest boss Stuart Pearce has seen his side go 10 matches unbeaten to start the season while Spurs have laboured.
The big clubs often look ripe for the picking in the early stages of the League Cup at the best of times, but never more so than at White Hart Lane on Wednesday.
Tottenham were dismal there on Sunday in losing 1-0 to WBA and performances like that can cause a malaise at a club, not easily solved just by rotating the squad. To prove the point, Pochettino has struggled in Europe and the top flight recently having gone four matches without a victory.
None of this is of any concern to Nottm Forest who are top of the Championship and unbeaten in 10 games across all competitions.
The visiting fans are hoping for another fine display to mark the 10th anniversary of Brian Clough’s passing, and Stuart Pearce hasn’t disappointed them yet. Paddy Power offer 16/1 on Forest winning 1-0 - Spurs haven’t scored in three of their last four - and money back if the Londoners don’t win in 90 minutes.
