Liverpool Maintain Winning Habit
A combination of good results and a new manager have brought the feel-good factor back to Liverpool.
Capital One Cup fixtures can be fraught with danger because it is difficult to predict the starting line-ups with any confidence. Both Southampton and Liverpool fielded a mixture of regular and fringe players in the last round and I expect more of the same.
Of the two teams, Liverpool can call upon more strength in depth and they are a shade big to win game in 90 minutes at 15/8 (Betfred).
Jurgen Klopp still has plenty of work to but his side are developing the happy knack of winning.
Liverpool have won six of their last seven fixtures in all competitions whereas Southampton have lost their last two.
In an evenly matched fixture, Liverpool are the best bet at 15/8 (Betfred).
