Howe To Have A Cherry Christmas

Bournemouth are unbeaten in 12, top of their league and have scored 32 times in that run. Brendan Rodgers could do without this fixture.

With Liverpool in seemingly never-ending turmoil and Bournemouth 12 matches unbeaten and top of the Championship, it seems almost too obvious to back the hosts at a best price of 3/1 (Boylesports).

The Merseysiders are capable of turning the corner and making their quality count, but if they did so tonight it would almost qualify as a shock. At the prices available, the Reds just can’t really be touched.

Instead, I would recommend being even more daring with our stake by backing Bournemouth to win with both teams to score - a 6/1 prospect with Betfair. The last four Cherries’ games have ended 5-3, 2-1, 2-2 & 2-2 which shows that Eddie Howe has plenty of goals in his side but also a few defensive lapses.

Over 3.5 goals in the match may therefore also appeal at a best price of 2/1 (WilliamHill) but we’re adding the so-called upset to the equation.
