QPR have scored just 2 away goals in 2014-15, both courtesy of Charlie Austin who is suspended for the trip to Goodison.
This is probably the fixture which Everton require to get back on track considering that QPR have lost all eight away matches they have played in league and cup this season. The Hoops have only scored twice on the road and the man who got both of those, Charlie Austin, is suspended.
The bookies are aware of all this which is why best odds of 7/5 (Boylesports) on the Toffees winning to nil is ok, but hardly sale of the century. Instead we can improve our options by taking Martinez’s men to win wither 1-0 or 2-0, both 13/2 shots.
Everton have struggled for firepower lately having been shutout by Krasnodar and Man Utd in their most recent fixtures. Indeed, the Merseysiders haven’t found the net more than twice in any of their last seven outings.
But with Lukaku having scored in each of his last four league appearances at Goodison, it’s hard to see QPR even holding on for 0-0.
