Wednesday Euros Goalscorer Treble

It looks like win or bust for Wales on Wednesday, and it will be really tough. But where there is Bale, there is hope.

After an 8/1 winner yesterday, we’re going for the jugular with a boosted 40/1 goalscorer acca on Immobile, Bale and Pukki all scoring on Wednesday, with Skybet.

Finland v Russia: (2pm)

Nobody should read too much into Finland’s 1-0 win over Denmark, for obvious reasons, but this bet has credibility anyway given the relative weakness of Russia. They were brushed aside 3-0 by Belgium and the mind goes back to their 5-0 loss to Serbia in the Nations League seven months ago. Pukki scored 10 in qualifying and this is his chance.

Turkey v Wales: (5pm)

This is the hardest case to make in truth because Turkey are much better than opening night suggested while Bale did little in Wales’s opener. But the Real Madrid superstar showed in his loan spell at Spurs that he can look irrelevant one match then world class the next. Like Pukki, this is Bale’s best chance to impact this tournament now.

Italy v Switzerland: (8pm)

If the Azzuri were under-talked heading into Euro 2020 it’s certainly gone the other way now, and with good reason. They were classy on opening night and any question marks over an ageing defence and their number nine looked unfounded. Immobile shone, looking more like the Lazio talisman he is. Could this be the start of a roll on the goal train in an Italy shirt?
