Progressive Slovakia Still One To Watch
The Group C surprise package have already won in the Ukraine and beaten champions Spain.
We’ve already enjoyed great success backing Slovakia in Euro 2016 qualifying and I see no reason to change tact just yet.
Jan Kozak’s boys have already terrorised the big boys of Group C having triumphed 1-0 in Ukraine before defeating defending champions Spain on their own turf. They then left it late to see off Belarus 3-1 to preserve a 100% record.
On Saturday night they visit a Macedonia side who were thumped 5-1 by Spain before they squeezed past minnows Luxembourg 3-2 after an injury time winner. Their 1-0 loss in Ukraine was credible but there’s no reason to suspect they can handle their vibrant visitors.
Slovakia know they must keep winning these matches with Spain and Ukraine breathing down their necks, waiting for a slip. They are available at a best price of 20/23 (BetVictor) and could deliver for us for a third time in little over a month.
