Czech Out The Draw
Group A is one of many pools to raise a few eyebrows with these two sides racing ahead of the Netherlands early on.
Two sides with 100% records meet in Bohemia this evening and the smart money is that both will go with the draw attractive at 11/4 (Skybet).
The Czech Republic have home advantage and are big favourites (3/4 Boylesports) but this disrespects Iceland who have been little short of wonderful so far. The visitors are top of Group A on goal difference having scored eight times without reply.
The hosts look slightly more vulnerable at the back having conceded in each of their victories including twice in Kazakhstan. But really we’re being harsh to criticise either of these sides who have both defeated the Netherlands already.
With the Dutch languishing six points off the pace, expect both teams here to put an emphasis on avoiding a defeat which would hand their opponents a significant advantage.
