Watford only lost their long unbeaten run due to a sending off and goalline technology against Spurs. City are approaching 4 months without an away win in the Premier League.
The case for Watford being overpriced at 9/2 to win at Vicarage Road is an incredibly easy one to make. For starters, Manchester City are six league matches without an away win dating back to mid-September (D3 L3).
That’s probably enough for the value in itself but throw in the absence of Vincent Kompany at the back for Pellegrini, the prolific form of Odion Ighalo (7 goals in 6 games) and this fixture has upset written all over it.
The Hornets were moments away from extending their unbeaten run to seven matches against Spurs, even with 10 men, and they could close to within three points of their opponents with victory today.
