Hoops I Did It Again

After tipping Spurs to lose in midweek, I think it may just happen a few days later instead. QPR are desperate, and remain one of the biggest attacking threats in the Premier League on their own patch.

Spurs raised their game after League Cup final disappointment, partly in tribute to club legend Dave Mackay, and ran out 3-2 winners over Swansea in midweek.

However, I refuse to accept that the tired legs won’t catch up with Pochettino’s boys, and it could be on Saturday instead. QPR should be fresher, and given the importance of the game for the hosts, they can make a mockery of best odds of 15/4 by winning here.

The other key thing to remember is that for all their problems, the Hoops still have a mid-table home record in 2014-15 (W5 D4 L5). Furthermore, they average more shots per home game (17) than league leaders Chelsea (16.7).

This makes them a considerable goal threat and if Charlie Austin maintains the sharpness he showed against Arsenal, and indeed throughout the season, then QPR can blow the relegation battle wide open here.
