Gunners Big Names Due To Step Up

Arsenal haven't lost in 12 visits to Selhurst Park and are unbeaten anywhere against the Eagles since 1994.

Despite the sense of trepidation many Gunners fans are feeling, in many ways this could be the perfect fixture to get Arsenal back on track.

The north Londoners have a wonderful record at Selhurst Park where they haven’t lost since 1979. Last season both clashes between the sides ended 2-1 to Wenger’s boys and a repeat could be on the cards at 8/1.

In truth Palace were pretty lucky to start with a 3-1 victory at Carrow Road last weekend. However, they are pretty much always competitive these days, normally score, but also normally concede.

This gives us a pretty good starting point for a scoreline prediction. It should be very close, and both teams should find the net without it turning into a goal blitz. The Eagles also lost 2-1 to Chelsea and Man Utd at home last term as they actually did better on the road.

Arsenal should be able to call upon Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott to shake things up for them here and I expect they, or one of the other superstars will make the difference in the end.
