Fulham v Norwich Tip

The Canaries are three points ahead of their opponents after 30 games but are still underrated.

Over three-quarters of the way through the season, it is almost certain that Norwich have gained enough points to ensure their Premier League survival. After 30 games, it isn’t stretching the imagination to call them the ‘surprise package’ of the season, yet bookmakers are still seemingly oblivious to their talents.

How else can you explain the 9/2 (William Hill) available on Norwich to beat Fulham?

Norwich sit two places and three points above Fulham in the league. They are on similar runs of form, each earning 10 points from their last 8 games. And both are untroubled by relegation concerns.

You can argue that Fulham are favoured by playing at home, but you don’t need long memories to remember the thumping they took from Swansea. It is now three losses in a row for Martin Jol and his men; perhaps a season that started on 30 June is starting to takes its toll.

If I were pricing up this game I’d have all three possible results around the 2/1 mark. We must therefore take advantage of William Hill’s blind spot and back a Norwich win at 9/2.
