Wombles Could Get Walloped

When Tottenham score early at Wembley they tend to run riot even against Premier League sides. Wimbledon will hope for a good day out but they struggle even at their own level.

Unlike many of the matches this weekend, this clash between a Premier League side and lower league opposition has little chance of a shock.

Wimbledon at Wembley has romantic connotations with the FA Cup but the modern incarnation is a struggling League 1 side currently sat in the relegation places. Pochettino should be able to shuffle his pack and still ensure a straightforward victory.

The Dons rank 2nd worst in League One for goals scored so to get some value let’s bank of them failing to score. The ‘correct score’ market is the only way we’ll make decent money with Spurs nothing longer than 1/7 in the ‘win’ market.

If the heavy favourites score in the first half it will surely be routine and a 4-0 victory is worth a punt at a best price 8/1 with BetFair.
