The Lions Reap Tonight
Millwall are unbeaten in 8 FA Cup home ties (W7 D1) and many a big side has fallen in that run. The Toffees have a poor recent record in this competition and their PL form isn't much better.
The TV cameras are looking for FA Cup shocks and it’s with that hope that they travel to the Den on Saturday evening. Millwall are well worth a punt to KO Everton at best odds of 4/1 with PaddyPower.
It was at this point last year that the Lions really kicked into life as they stormed up the Championship table. Fast-forward to 2019 and there’s some momentum building again after one defeat in 6 in all competitions.
More impressively, Millwall have won their last four home FA Cup ties against Premier League opponents; they saw off Watford, Bournemouth and Leicester en route to the quarter-finals in 2017.
Everton are vulnerable after a slide into a familiar mediocrity. Murmurs of discontent are surrounding Marco Silva and if he rotates his side, as in round three, then those grumbles could be much louder by 7.30pm.
