Preston: No Ordinary Boys
The Blades are a League One side likely to suffer from exhaustion at any moment now.
Fans who pay little attention to the lower leagues will look at this fixture and just assume that Sheffield United will continue their prowess as a formidable cup team.
However, a League One squad isn’t built to sustain the number of fixtures which the Blades have been playing lately and I wouldn’t be surprised if it all caught up with them on Tuesday night.
On the face of it, United enjoyed another impressive victory on Saturday, but those at the ground will know that Swindon could have been out of sight by the break.
For all the contrast in form, Preston are still eight points better off than their opponents in the table and at 9/4 (Bet365) they are very capable of punishing some tired legs.
