Upsets were thin on the ground on Saturday in the FA Cup and it’s hard to see that trend reversing on Sunday when you look at the fixtures coming up.
It won’t quicken the pulse, but the most likely underdog victory is League One Doncaster to get a victory at Championship Preston at best odds of 3/1 with BetFair.
‘Donny’ are the 2nd highest scorers in their division after winning 5-0 on New Year’s Day. That extended their run to 1 defeat in 11 games, which includes a 7-0 replay win over Chorley in Round 1 and an impressive 2-0 success at Charlton in Round 2 of the FA Cup.
Conversely, Preston are 17th in the Championship and heading downwards. Since December 22nd they’ve lost to Rotherham, Hull and Wednesday, all of whom were in the bottom half of the league themselves.
