Jose Doesn't Do Romance

The arrival of one of the league's best players at Old Trafford gives United the impetus they might otherwise have missed at Yeovil.

Apologies for those looking for the ultimate FA Cup ‘romance’ story. This one isn’t for you. Manchester United head to Yeovil on Friday night and I’m amazed you can get odds-against on the Europa League champions winning both halves - Ladbrokes offer 15/13 on that prospect.

Yeovil are a struggling League 2 side sat just 2 points above the relegation zone having lost to one of the few sides below them, Chesterfield, at home last time out. They also have the joint-second worst defensive record in the division having conceded 50 goals already.

If they leak at that level then what chance have they got against one of the richest clubs in the world? Mourinho will no doubt rotate his squad but Alexis Sanchez is expected to make his debut and that will surely provide a lift for all involved for the Red Devils if one was needed.
