Gunners To Prove They Are Better Than United?
Arsenal's performance levels are higher than their opponents. That should lead to better results sooner rather than later.
Paddy Power have made our bet selection for the standout tie of FA Cup quarter-final weekend easy by offering money back if it’s a draw.
With that insurance in place, Arsenal look a great bet to win at 19/10 with the Irish firm - only a fraction shorter than the 2/1 some firms are offering without a money back contingency.
The Gunners have put their away demons of 2013-14 behind them now and they can take confidence from a 2-2 draw at Anfield in December, when they were only denied victory in the 97th minute. More importantly, they showed they could get over the line away to a big team in January when Man City were well beaten 2-0. Indeed, the holders have won four of their last five on the road now.
Man Utd continue to flatter to deceive and they have made hard work of their last six outings. Old Trafford victories over Sunderland (2-0) and Burnley (3-1) may sound easy based on the scoreline, but they were anything but in reality.
In the top flight Arsenal enjoy more shots on target per game (5.6) than United (4.8) while defensively they are similar. In short, the Londoners are the very better side and should prove it here.
