7th Apr 2019 | FA Cup

Going to the Wembley Wire

A win on Sunday will cap a fantastic season for one of these over-achievers. A case can be made either way and there's value in backing spot-kick drama.

The second FA Cup semi-final is a battle between ‘the best of the rest’ with Wolves and Watford beginning the weekend in 7th and 8th position respectively.

Separated by just a point, both have managed to combine great Premier league seasons with terrific cup runs so this should be a well-matched clash with confident players everywhere you look.

The bookies side with Wolves who have the pedigree for beating the big guns more frequently, and historically the much better record at Wembley, but then again Watford were the victors when the sides had their only meeting to date in 2018-19, at Molineux.

It’s too close to call on paper and I like the look of Skybet’s 5/1 offer on either team winning on penalties. Man City await in the final!
