FA Cup Final Tip

Iheanacho scored 2 against Manchester United in the quarter-final before claiming the only goal of the semi against Southampton. He's been one of 2021's biggest surprises to date - can he make himself a Leicester City legend?

Chelsea are strong favourites to lift the FA Cup Final on Saturday night, but there are grounds for hope in Leicester. I feel that 1-1 is the most likely 90 minute score, and with a Nigerian striker currently on fire, Skybet’s ‘Scorecast Boost’ (Double Chance) comes into its own.

We can get 22/1 on Kelechi Iheancho scoring first and the regular time score ending either 1-1 or 2-1 to the Foxes. The 24-year-old has scored 13 goals since the start of March.

As imperious as the Londoners have looked under Thomas Tuchel, Brendan Rodgers can point to his team’s excellent record in head-to-heads (W4 D2 in their last six in the top flight.) Leicester are also two points better off in the table, while their boss has won every major cup final he has competed in.

It’s hard to overestimate how much this occasion will matter to the East Midlands outfit, who have never won the FA Cup. 20,000 fans will be back in Wembley and the likes of Schmeichal and Vardy know what it takes to win major silverware.
