Double Up With Manchester In The Cup

The fifth round of the FA Cup has plenty of ‘David vs Goliath’ story lines but quality betting opportunities are thin on the ground. Blackburn and Huddersfield host both Manchester clubs and despite the excitement this generates for the home support, I cannot see any fairytales.

City and United have won their four FA Cup ties by an aggregate of 16-0 and have the squad depth to be able to change their starting XI without materially weakening it. The same can’t be said for Huddersfield and Blackburn who also have one eye on the Championship with promotion and relegation battles ahead.

It might not be particularly inspiring but a win double on both Manchester clubs pays almost even money and that looks fair to me.
