4th Jan 2020 | FA Cup

Crestfallen Bluebirds

This game won't be on the radar of many but 10/1 is a big price to oppose a team who lost 6-1 on New Year's Day.

On the hunt for potential FA Cup upsets, Carlisle Utd catch the eye at best odds of 10/1 of Ladbrokes because of the sorry state of their hosts right now.

Cardiff City arrive off the back of a 6-1 hammering to QPR, themselves a mediocre Championship outfit, and they’ve had just three days to get that out of their system.

Neil Harris is just 10 games into his stint with the Bluebirds and, after a bright start, he has seen just one win in six league outings as promotion hopes fade. This is a sorry state of affairs for one of the pre-season favourites.

Of course Carlisle are two divisions worse off, and they struggle even at League 2 level. But they’ve already progressed through two rounds to get here which can build a sense of momentum. A 2-1 victory away to Walsall came only six days ago so they are capable on a good day.
