Everton v Tottenham Tip

Goodison Park is becoming a fortress again

Spurs are running out of steam while Moyes' boys are flourishing.

It’s hard to escape the feeling that things have taken a turn for the worst at Tottenham Hotspur. Consecutive league defeats at the hands of Arsenal and Manchester United were emphatic in the end; an unconvincing victory for Spurs over League One Stevenage in midweek won’t have raised morale particularly. The season-ending injury to Michael Dawson will have seen to that.

A trip to Goodison Park looks like the last thing Harry Rednkapp’s side need, especially with a revitalised Arsenal suddenly breathing down their necks. Everton are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions and have already defeated Chelsea and Manchester City on Merseyside in 2012. Spurs rarely relish their trips here as it is; they haven’t won on this ground since 2007.

A win for the Toffees at best odds of 2/1 with WilliamHill looks like the value.
